Three Yemeni coffee houses opened inside a single year: Turath Coffee on College Boulevard, Mocha Point on 135th, and R Qahwah Cafe on 95th. Vietnam Cafe, the 30-year-old Columbus Park institution, opened its first Johnson County location at 135th & Switzer, so the regulars who had been driving 35 to 40 minutes each way can stop doing that.
